Day 2 Keyword match types

We can go trough a little bit about how the different keyword matches works.
The Broad match is the model that we would want to use as little as possible.
Because the search:
Dog food
Will show our ad when someone searches for Dog or Food alone in a search or Sea Food would now trigger our ad as well.
Instead I suggest that you concentrate on the Phrase match and Exact Matching models.
Phrase match is when you search for:
“Dog food”
This will result in your ad being shown for these different searches:
“food dog”
Dog food
“How do I buy dog food”
And so on.
So Phrase match works in this way that if this 2 keywords are in the search term, our Ad will show.
Our ad will be more relevant and more targeted this way.
Then we have the exact match that if we would search for:
[Dog Food]
It will only show our ad when the search is only containing these keywords in the same order and no other keywords are in the search.
Very useful as it is extremely targeted so the conversion rate is usually much higher than Broad Match and Phrase Match.
My campaign usually contains only Phrase match and exact match.
I pay put less per click price on the Phrase match and a little bit higher on the exact match as those converts better for me.

Thank you for being here with me so far!

Adwords and Google Slap

Hi everyone

I am going to make a case study here about how to get cheaper clicks through adwords.
As we all know this is very important to an affiliate marketer.
Google have new rule now that makes it difficult for affiliate marketers to send the traffic directly to merchant webpage. Actually you are not even allowed any more to send traffic directly to the merchant page.

So we have now a choice of not dealing anymore with Google or work around the problem.

So first is first.

What I write here is what I have found to work good for me, so please make your own concussions and testing before you decide to do this in large scale.

We know now that we need our own domain to send our traffic to.

So no.1 is to get our own domain or use a freely available blog solution through google them selves or through wordpress.com.

I would suggest to start with an blogger blog because Google considers blogger a high quality domain as they own blogger.

So we can start with a blogger blog and start to make our landing page on this page.

1. Make a relevant name for the blog to what your promoting.
2. Make a relevant landing page with your main keywords used in the landing page.
3. Consider to make different landing pages under the blog that uses the keywords that you are going to use, so for example if you have many keywords you should have different landing pages for this keywords.
This will make sure that your landing page for the specific keyword will be considered of high quality.
4. When your ready with your landing pages then make different ad groups with highly targeted keyword list under your adwords account so that different ad groups send traffic to different landing pages.
